Traffic Calming in Englishcombe Lane

A number of traffic calming measures are proposed for Englishcombe Lane. These are now out for comment. Notices will be posted during November. In the meantime if you have any comments please contact either Paul or Dine.

20mph Traffic Calming measures

STATEMENT OF REASONS FOR PROPOSING TO INSTALL SPEED TABLES
The Council in exercise of their powers under The Highways Act 1980 propose to install speed tables to slow vehicle speeds to an appropriate level for a 20mph road.This order is proposed so as to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road or to prevent the likelihood of any such danger arising.


Schedule 1 - Raised Tables Englishcombe Lane, Bath
Table 1 – centred 165m north east of its junction with Mount Road.
Table 2 – centred 52m east of its junction with Southdown Road.
Table 3 –centred 17m west of its junction with Stirtingale Road.
Table 4 – centred 272m east of its junction with Oak Avenue.
Table 5 – centred 104m west of its junction with Englishcombe Way.
Table 6 – centred 24m west of its junction with Westfield Close.
