The Hollow roadworks

Roadworks on The Hollow coming soon. These will last just a few days. We apologise for any inconvenience caused but the work is needed and the resurfaced road will be better for all.

BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL

(THE HOLLOW, SOUTHDOWN, BATH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PARKING) ORDER 2014

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an orderthe effect of which will be to temporarily introduce road closure and to suspend parking in that length of The Hollow, Southdown, Bath extending from its junction with Whiteway Road to its junction with Mount Road.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to facilitate resurfacing works in the carriageway and will be operative on 4th August 2014 for a maximum period of two weeks. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.This is anticipated to be for five days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE

The Hollow (unaffected part), Kelston View, Wedgwood Road, Poolemead Road andWhiteway Road.
